DDBJ works in close relation to its European and American counterparts (EBI and NCBI), and it is one of the three major international data banks that builds the DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank International Nucleotide Sequence Database. It provides search and analysis tools for sequence data.

DBCLS Service is a list of tools and services useful for bioinformatics and database integration provided by the Database Center for Life Science (DBCLS), Research Organisation of Information and Systems.

NBDC provides links to service sites (database catalogues, cross-search, archives, etc.) provided directly by the National Bioscience Database Center (NBDC), which is in charge of the promotion of integrated life science databases, as well as databases and tools provided by other relevant organisations.

KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes) is an integrated page for the KEGG database system. It allows you to access by data types (PATHWAY, BRITE, DISEASE, DRUG, GENES, GENOME, COMPOUND, GLYCAN, REACTION) and by organisms. It also allows you to access the execution screens of various analysis tools such as KEGG Mapper, KEGG Atlas, KASS, etc.
